Right now we're living in Garrettsville but we're in an apartment. We're just really outgrown the two-bedroom situation with my kids both being grown now. It's ridiculous how expensive some of these houses are. It's like a two-bedroom two bathroom house feels like $350,000 and it's like why would you pay so much for that?! There was a house it was actually a pretty decent but it was ridiculously priced because it came with 14 Acres. I don't need nor do I want a ton of land. And then anything in town is ridiculously expensive because of the privilege of living in town I guess. It's definitely nice for the people who are selling but those of us who are trying to buy something for the first time are pretty screwed. A lady I work with is trying to sell her house and she found one that she wants but is having trouble selling her home and the bank won't give her a loan until her house is sold and it's a whole thing. Super jealous about your baby buns! We had a couple a long time ago but when we moved into the apartment we had to get rid of them cuz of no pets.
:frow Good morning Apryl, have a great day

Garrettsville? Really? I love that area. We’re in kent. What are their ordinances like? Its one of the areas Im keeping an eye on, as well as: Mantua, Rootstown, Shalersville, Streetsboro. Trying to stay close to work.
They counted rabbits as pets?! Usually its just cats and dogs since rabbits dont make noise and are “usually” in cages.
Yeah, we have a new development up the road starting in the mid 350’s and they are really close together and the house is pretty average sized. INSANE! But they know people will pay it.
The Falls is very reasonably priced, usually, but you dont get a whole lot. Taxes are pretty low there too. I could use 14 acres. Where was it? Although I doubt I have that type of budget. I was trying to convince kiddo to go in on a property with us, in his own house of course, but he doesn't see the benefit.

Last week, while at the feed store, the kids got free tickets to the local version of a monster truck rally, that would happen this weekend. On Thurs. they all worked their tails off, doing an extra day's worth of school work. They knew the started on Friday, and wanted to make sure they had their school work caught up, in case they could go on Friday.

To be honest, no one had even thought about going. Due to the way they took care of their tickets, and did extra school work, it was decided that they had to go to the rally. Everyone wanted to go, but me. I decided to stay home. They left early, so they could eat, look at all the trucks, and do other things before the event started. While they were gone, I managed to get the floors vacuumed, and mopped. About the time the main event started, it began pouring rain. Yes, it got rained out. They had a good time anyway. I know they all came home with their faces painted, and food. Anyway, due to the rain, that meant they had to go today.

It was scheduled earlier today, than yesterday. Off they went. I cleaned off clutter, dusted, wiped baseboards, and cleaned the kitchen. They had a good time, watching the main event today. They came home to a clean house. It's a good thing they scheduled it earlier today. It's now pouring out.

So glad they got to go, twice 😂
Even though you still worked, .i bet it was nice just to have them out of the house for a bit.

Some alone time is a rare thing around here. It's also easier to clean, and keep things clean, when everyone is gone.

I was able to vacuum without anyone making a mess, so I had to re-vacuum, before mopping. I got to mop, without them spilling something, and having to re-mop an area. I got to put away the clutter, without them dragging more out, then dust with it clutter free. Like I said, it's easier to clean when they're not here.

When I got done, I was able to sit back, and relax awhile, without anyone disturbing me. Again, alone time is rare, but oh so precious when I can get it.

I have to admit, they appreciated my efforts enough that everyone cleaned up after themselves, so the house still looks good.
