Life has been busy and nothing new to say I guess.

I do check in to read every day. I will try to be better about posting. I know how much we all worry when we don't see someone for a while.

Dont remember if I mentioned it, but ive decided to paint the bedroom. I figure why not? Everythings out of my way right might as well make the best of it. I wanna go very dark blue with one wall being a light gray ish. I have a very large to do list for my break. At least i wont be bored. Hubs just said he has to go to Kentucky for work in the middle of next week? Sounds like i might get one day off then

Good afternoon everyone.

Fishy, painting your bedroom, or any other room for that matter, is a great activity this time of year. It's been so hot out, that inside cleaning, painting, repairs, etc. help keep you out of the heat. Outdoor things are better done in the spring, and fall.

It's been so hot, I've double checked regarding the heat in my coop. The chickens are fine. There is a big Oak tree behind the coop, that shades it well, and help keep the temps down. With the fans, it makes the coop fairly pleasant. In addition, when it gets really hot, one of us goes out, and makes wet spots in the run.
