I have a stalker!!!! YAYYAYYAY!!!! :wee I'm so honored! I thought my only readers were "Vinnie" (the hub) and "Liam" (my BFF and drinking buddy), lol!

Thank you, 21, seriously. Writing has aways worked for me, maybe more than therapy, meds, workaholism, perfectionism, various other -isms, and laying around wallowing (whih accomplishes nothing, other than making you feel worse).

There will be lots more funny chicken stories to follow, I promise. Stalk on, Wayne!
I've checked it out... it'd be nice if there was a way you could 'like' a post that way we could let you know you're not just talking to yourself w/o looking like a total creeper..

I think i like hay in the coop, the poops just sit on top and freeze much easier to clean...tmi i know but my girls crapped out like a quarter bucket of poopcicles last night must have shivered it out of them.
I have straw and I think it's great too. I've raked out huge frozen piles of poop from Odin's section (I don't do his everyday so it accumulates more) as well as giant morning piles from under the roosts. Willie sleeps on top of the feed trash can and he has these little poops that are the size of tiny tootsie rolls, but there's a bunch of them. I do prefer frozen poop to hot steamy summer poops, but I do like when they can poop outside more.

Heeey i had some tootsie rolls too, not tiny but i had them. They were rooster rolls, i wonder if that's just a guy thing? The hens had their usual mountains but under the roos spot just little perfect kids he dropped off at the pool. And you can't like PBM's blog posts but you can comment if you've got a Google account "like pretty much everything else on the flippin internet now" Google just has it's fingers in everything.
