First day in over a week the chickens can get out and not freeze and its raining on the poor things. Roo probably likes getting some of his oil washed off. Oh, and I'm going to have trouble soon, caught Lulu stealing eggs....pre broody tater.

She is back asleep.
We played in the run after I picked up yesterdays prizes. She came in ate and fell over.

It's fine, I'm planning on letting her hatch a few i just wasn't wanting her to until spring lol! I'd like for her to hatch her own eggs too and not be stealing from other ladies.

@FlyingNunFarm,how's your roosters comb doing with the coconut oil? Is it still discolored or is he healing?

The one that originally had blisters on his points is doing better but now the other got blisters....

Been treating them the same so no idea.

I paid my $75 vet bill I did not opt for the $105 to send off for testing. After talking to the Silkie breeder she says there is a college about a hour away that does Necropsy and testing for $35 or free, she couldn’t remember. She has sent a cow or something there. Next time, I will do that.

I am not giving up, but I am bummed. I am REAL bummed! I just dote on my little buddies and feel so bad this happened, and will continue to

Anyway, got to go pick up the child. Be back later.
