I paid my $75 vet bill I did not opt for the $105 to send off for testing. After talking to the Silkie breeder she says there is a college about a hour away that does Necropsy and testing for $35 or free, she couldn’t remember. She has sent a cow or something there. Next time, I will do that.

I am not giving up, but I am bummed. I am REAL bummed! I just dote on my little buddies and feel so bad this happened, and will continue to

Well I'm glad the original one is doing better, and poor other guy. I think it helped Negan quite a bit, his tips are still a little pale but just one teeny blister between spikes. I'm giving him a break today since he's starting to look like the Fonz.

The one that originally had blisters on his points is doing better but now the other got blisters....

Been treating them the same so no idea.

Can I get a big, giant, freaking HELLS YEAH??!!!

I quit my job today. Gave my 60 days notice. I feel like a million pounds of rotted, stinking taters was just lifted off my shoulders!!!

Then--right as I was telling Smuv my good news on the phone--cuz I am THRILLED and triumphant--I got stuck in a giant snowdrift on the way home, on an unplowed road. I am not kidding.

As my hub was trying to dig me out, my Piney neighbor (let's call him Daryl, in honor of The Walking Dead) drove by in his snowplow (seriously) and pulled me out!!

Now I am drinking wine, and will attempt to catch up on the million posts I need to catch up on.

Can I get a ??!!



Oh, and the best part? When my head nurse (who is one of the biggest taters on the planet) called me up an hour or so later, she was like, "Oh, I hear you're leaving us. Good luck in your future endeavors. So, how is that immunization review coming?" Like, really betch? I should have asked her, "So...does this mean I'm not getting a going-away party?!" But I don't think that fast, lol.

I feel major blogs coming on, people. Yeeehaaaaw!

I know, it really sucks! But animals get diseases. Maybe they can come up with a cure, what with the importance of the poultry industry.
