I'm trying to figure it out, never noticed but i was scratching the roo's beard and his pupils were going absolutely ham. I don't know if it was good ham or bad ham.

Probably bad! I have never seen a chicken that wants to be held. Some don't mind as much as others but still don't like it

I do hate chicken quarrels, but I must admit it is kind of fascinating to see these fist size fluff balls trying to establish their pecking order (or whatever they are doing).

I think it's funny to watch chicks tussle

I have had a couple hens that would stand on me and one that preferred to be carried into the run for treats. Yes she wanted picked up......likely just to get first pecks at the treats though.

Then there are the bantams that run to me instead of their coop if there is a hawk alarm sounded.

Chickens are weird.

I think I'll just call them over when i find some treats and back up to watch them squabble over it with a big smile like a good rooster.

Did you know they make shoe inserts for that? I bought some for DH.

I just scored 100 feet of chain link with all the stuff for $100 delivered! That is going to make a nice yard for the goats after they kid when the babies are little!

I read it is pretty common when folks are on their feet to much on hard surfaces.

I am not familiar with any treatments. I do empathize with the foot pain though.

Before I quit my job it was getting really bad. I would end up with a limp all day. Ice did nothing to help. Probably the same issue. I just refuse to go to get diagnosed.
