OMG, that Stewie video is the most annoying thing ever. Sometimes my hub does that MUMMY...MUM thing, and I have to slap him.

Anything chicken can do. Turkey fried rice. Turkey noodle soup. Turkey tetrazzinni. Turkey noodle casserole (instead of tuna). Meatballs are super easy too. Take ground cooked turkey and mix it into some regular raw ground beef.

Those turkey leftovers are getting kinda rancid, people. Just saying. Like, crispy around the edges with a titch of sliminess. Chickens will gobble em up though, cannibalistic little boogers that they are!

I just tossed some leftover TG biscuits out there, and it was like seagulls fighting over a pizza crust (which is what I always tell the hub football reminds me of).

I realize with the broody hatches, (9-6-11=26 new birds since I built the last coop this summer) I need to start another hoop coop. Got the 8x8 base done, the 2 cattle panels in and the end supports yesterday. "just" have to put all the HC on and make doors.
Yesterday one of the new yellow chicks from Sat/sun hatch went and ran with the halloween chicks, when I went to put it back the halloween broody drew blood protecting it.... This morning all chicks were with the broodies they should be.. a couple of hours later I found a new yellow one laying in the coop I stuffed him in my shirt and by the time I got the heating pad cave warmed up he was peeping... of course he will not quit peeping unless he is with me .. will have to bring in another to keep him company...

Yes, fires with animals are scary! I once had some hay smouldering in my goat barn, had to evacuate them all and i put the fire out. Heat lamps require cages, i know that now!

I feel like you're not a real chicken person until you've stuffed a chicken in your shirt to keep it warm.

My BFF thought I was nuts a couple weekends ago when I did that! Haha. It is my first instinct to warm them up.
