Took the pretty pink box outside so the girls would at least know what it was and just as i predicted roo immediately went in the door and started doing that omg! I could make a nest in here noise...and he did right in a bag of packing peanuts that were headed for the trash can. Good sign!

Possibly. I'll have to look into that next summer when I'm making modifications. Our wind issue and snow issue causes a lot of problems for us. It's frustrating how quickly cold permeates through glass. Inside our house I tuck my curtains into the window sill b/c you can feel the cold coming through.

Get some of the insulation pink board and cut it to size and put it in your windows during the winter

I got it off overstock, i searched for chicken coop. They've got two colors pink and blue, pink is cheaper. The site says it's red but its pink.

@Chickassan how sturdy is it? My broody totes are less than a year old and they are starting to crack. I want a new solution.
