It will grow a whole new beautiful head.

There are different kinds of garlic.... Basically hard neck and soft neck. One is planted in the fall and one in spring. If you plant at the "wrong time" you may lose some but most will survive to grow.

You know about using garlic scapes?

Vegetable soup with meatballs for dinner
I had the Garden bar and a bacon cheese burger with a gluten-free bun at Ruby Tuesday for dinner. Today was DHs b-day and I arranged to get out of the house this evening, just to two of us. The Milk Drinker stayed with Mom-mom and Grampy. This is the first MD free date we've had since before he was born. Besides going out to eat, we went to Lowe's to get 1/4 plywood to insulate the floors properly and Walmart, to get some movies and some new clothes for DH (he's been mentioning that he was running out of undershirts and undies for a while). We also got nice winter gloves for working outside.

I took the leftover NY food, the beans/ham and collards, put them into a soup for dinner.

Hey, all my gardeners!!!! Got a question..... DH got a TATER ton of garlic heads from work... a bunch of them are sprouting.... I wanna plant them... would this be OK or do I need to order some organic garlic.... and WHEN (RJ) should I plant them here?!?!?
I thought you plant garlic in the fall.

They are like a mild garlic in flavor Smuv. I haven't cooked with them either.
But I want to.
