Did you look at the cozy legs heater? It's flat and it's cheap but it works really good. That's what i did have until i let the mother in law borrow it and it never came home. It wouldn't do for a huge area but it would definitely take the chill off. BTW the heater was ment to warm legs under desks so it's pretty darn safe.

My coop wasn’t originally a coop. It’s pretty big and wide open inside. I might need 4 of those heaters to take the chill off.

Gonna try and get some work done out there tomorrow. Try and shore up the wonky rafters. Get a real temp and humidity reading. Chase the little broody around to break her so I don’t have to bring her in.

And I have 15 chickens... so not exactly a house flock.

Corn starch will stop the bleeding or some liquid bandage even flour
I considered flour, but didn't know if it would actually work or just make a nasty bloody paste.

Lol! All the injuries around here i can personally vouch all the methods absolutely work. One more, in the spice isle of the grocery store there is something called alum it will also stop bleeding and shrink swollen tissue.
Thanks for all the ideas. I'll def have to get something w those vultures out there. I'm surprised nobody made any of these suggestions earlier this summer when I posted about Odin's tail feathers being ripped out and him bleeding. Maybe it wouldn't have helped , I don't know.

I had to pick up another thermometer humidity monitor for the coop. I have a heat bulb if needed or little space heaters if I can secure them. Worried about how taterin dusty it is out there. Thought about one of those panel heaters but they have terrible reviews.
To secure my space heater I took a board that was quite a bit wider than the space heater and drilled holes through it so I could use pull ties to wrap around the wheels and hold it in place. They haven't knocked it over but even if they did it has a switch inside that will turn it off so it's not a fire hazard. I was going to put a heavy break on each side of the board to help hold it in place but they were all Frozen to the ground outside so that wasn't an option. I did not cover it with anything to protect it, although I have seen a couple of them jump on it when they're anxious for treat distribution, but it doesn't seem to get very hot. The warmest it got was 40 degrees when it was 20 degrees outside. I did turn it up on high today but since it's going to be around negative 5 over night I figured I'd be lucky if it kept the temperature around 20 overnight.

Your chickens are just taters! I've done everything possible to the coop here there is a good 5 inches of bedding, they're ventilated, the roosts are wide so they can cover their feet but even with all that i know it's butt cold out there. I wish i already had a heater but i wasn't expecting flipping Antarctica to hit.

Just a reminder, the weather in Antarctica, according to a previous post, was actually warmer than the east coast.
