I really tried to rub it in. Not leave any clumps or thick spots. I'm wondering if that was the problem with the bag balm. It was too thick?
I let mine eat a clump. They seem to like it. Won't hurt...LOL
ETA: It's Virgin Coconut Oil. Cold pressed. All sorts of good stuff in that sh!t. Smells nice too.

With the VCO I think you'll be fine. The look of glazed donut (great description btw) is just the outer shell hardening. VCO is solid below 75°. The tub of it I had in my inside coat pocket wasn't melted. So hopefully his comb is warm and will keep the oil on his skin soft.Omg, how hard is it to get that stuff even though lol! I put it on liquidy and rubbed it in and it looked fine but as it cooled off my dude looked like a doughnut glazed by a blind person. I hope he isn't too lumpy, at least it's kind of soothing and healing too.![]()
