Omg, how hard is it to get that stuff even though lol! I put it on liquidy and rubbed it in and it looked fine but as it cooled off my dude looked like a doughnut glazed by a blind person. I hope he isn't too lumpy, at least it's kind of soothing and healing too.:)
I really tried to rub it in. Not leave any clumps or thick spots. I'm wondering if that was the problem with the bag balm. It was too thick?
I let mine eat a clump. They seem to like it. Won't hurt...LOL

ETA: It's Virgin Coconut Oil. Cold pressed. All sorts of good stuff in that sh!t. Smells nice too.

With the VCO I think you'll be fine. The look of glazed donut (great description btw) is just the outer shell hardening. VCO is solid below 75°. The tub of it I had in my inside coat pocket wasn't melted. So hopefully his comb is warm and will keep the oil on his skin soft.
I think the bag balm was to thick when I using it and it just got cold and gel like. So holding more cold to them then stopping cold... I think?
