Wish I could help but I have only dealt with it once and it was super minor. I have no idea which med is better.Today I stuck and egg in my pocket and forgot about it and crushed it, for the first time. I let the chickens out to run around in the yard this evening. Odin looks like crap. Oil all in his feathers. Tail looks like it went through a wringer. His comb looks good. Only one tip looks bad and he has a spot on the back where *someone* had bitten him. His waddles have white around the edges, but it looks like the flesh under is viable.. I'm going to put some of the green goo stuff on it after we get through this next freeze to help it heal. Not sure if the blukote would be better or not, but I feel like the salve would be more protective. Willie has a couple black tips on his comb, nothing too bad. All the girls seem good and were happy to be outside again. I was surprised no one went under the trees to try a dust bath, but they did peck around the yard for about an hour.

Cappy.
Silly people think the roads are gonna vanish for good.

welcome to the nightmare
