Smuvers, did PIC come in before or after mild hypothermia set in? :pop Either way, yeah, if he gets sick, you can explain to DH that laying in the snow didn't help much. :old Of course, most likely he won't get sick. We never did, and we had snow caves that we dug one year to store snowballs in. I actually took a nap in my snow cave once. This was back in the blizzard of 1977 when we lived in Findlay, OH. The only thing I remember about school that year was not having it because of the blizzard. I don't remember anything else. :lau

I'm in Sandusky OH and I remember that blizzard well. We lost electricity and cooked dinner on a grate in our fireplace. My Uncle taught school in Findlay for 20 years and taught during that time.

She looks so fluffy compared to Frannie. Mable definatly has the Cochin butt. Frannie seems to have a little bit of an up tail. That could just be her attitude. :D They sure do look like they came from the same gene pool. (And both holding out on the eggs:barnie)

In 1977 i was attending Dalhousie university in Halifax, NS. I don't recall any specially big blizzard, but it does usually snow a lot there.
