I just remembered something !

I was at the store yesterday and went down the ightbulb aisle and thought of you.

I am NOT a fan of the new led lightbulbs.
I don't like the creepy color light they give off.
Some of them are better in the past year or so but still not the warm vivid light I used to enjoy from my old favorite "reveal bulbs" .

Here are the new ones I noticed:

How much?

We buy LED bulbs from Home Depot, they are much cheaper. We have been using them for almost 5 years. The last set I bought was Ecosmart and I really like them.

OK I found the spray. My sprayer is buried behind stuff in the workshop.
Now to figure out the mix ratio, how to spray birds, and the coop.

I got 4 new bags of shavings, and I already use dust masks. I have all the stuff I need......I think.

Oh and more mouse traps.

CSA I am thinking that your little one will he feathers in before molt. They are always replacing feathers just more slowly when not molting. I had several under a year molt this fall too.

Sooooooo........ Since the welsummer is feeling poorly I think I will wrestle my transport crate out to the coop as well. It is 2x4x2 so plenty big enough. That way I can make sure she is eating well.

Poultry nutri drench should I or shouldn't I?

Can't hurt

Man, Odin really is your problem burd, isn't he?
I'm looking forward to ski instructing tonight! It's so encouraging. All of the kids I'm helping to teach are girls, and they look up to me so much! Currently, they're all ducks. Let me explain: We were on the bunny slope, and they were having technical difficulties(actually, one of the other students kept on falling and trying to get on the same tow), so it took me a while to get up there. When I did, they were all huddled up with their skis in the air. For some weird reason, they reminded me of ducks. The duck thing carried over to the big hill. The main instructor was warning them about daredevil skiers, and I told them we want to be ducks, not squished bugs. Then we continued using the duck analogy, when we wanted them to follow us and such. I'll randomly whisper to them(in my best emperor impression) "Join the duck side!" I love it so much!
However, this cold is too tatering much!
:loveYou are too ducking adorbs Ruby.

Does this look right for application amount??

I don't want to poison my birds by using to much.

Thanks CSA! That helps, knowing teaspoon measurements is easier for me.

OK so I will segregate Windy and get nutri drench into her.......and any others with a heavy load.

The day has slipped away on me so I will get er done tomorrow. I can clear the coop while it is still chilly out then play a rousing game of catch that chicken. Woot for having a net handy!

Windy will get crated tonight while on roost......might be able to spray everyone then too depending on temps.

Ya'll are awesome!!
