What is scrapple? I've heard of it but I've got no idea what it actually is. I agree on the corn syrup being awful now, i used to use Mrs Butterworth but now she's nasty. I do refill one of her bottles since i have a bottle cozy that fits her and it looks neat.
Unless it is in a sandwich, I ALWAYS dip my breakfast sausage in syrup!

OOOOoooo and scrapple with syrup! ....Great, now I want scrapple. Can't eat it anymore because it is glutenous. :hit

It is an awesome series with David Attenborough (probably butchered spelling his name) as narrator. Very British accent and excellent delivery by him. Educational and best documentary since (cannot spell this name either) Jacque Cousteau.

It is a formed pork product that you slice up and pan fry or deep fry (restaurants usually use this method because it is faster) so it is nice and crispy on the outside. I've heard that you really don't want to know what it is made of. It is made out of the left over pork bits and some binders (glutenous binders usually). My mom told me it has "everything but the oink" in it.

Just note, I've had good scrapple and I've had bad scrapple. I HATE "southern style" scrapple. I LOVE the Amish style scrapple, I just can't eat it anymore. :'(
