It's a deworming but? Really I've been feeding them too the chickens just for fun

I read that acorns are poisonous to chickens!
Here I've been worrying about the ones that fall in my yard! Although I've never seen my chickens eating them...

Funny how different their tastes are. Mine love greens ...especially cabbage and kale. They also love sweet potatoes, broccoli and cucumbers. They won't touch apples or pears

Mine hate lettuce and cabbage but raid my herb pots mercilessly!
This fall I heavily seeded two pots of dill and cilantro just for them.
Then the hard freeze came and killed it.
Hopefully I can replant soon.
What I need is for Cappy to come here and build me a cold frame.
...or a greenhouse!

Don't know I just heard it somewhere. I heard banana peels and raw potatoes and citrus are bad for them as well

Here are my two roosting areas I made today. I am going to add a swinging log too. I need to make some hiding areas. Maybe some pipe and add nonskid pads on the inside and top. I saw where someone used an oatmeal container and hollowed out log.

My Red Productions loved acorns!!! There is an acorn tree above their run. I used to step on them and they loved eating the inside.

Do you ever walk through a grocery store and come to a dead stop in front of something really really gross and junky that you haven't had since you were a kid maybe, or since you had kids in the house at least... and you JUST SAY NO and force yourself to keep walking.... but then you get home and for a week you keep thinking about it every time you walk in the kitchen looking for something "snacky".....

I wound up with a sort of whoopie pie with Swiss merengue buttercreme.
Wish you guys were here.

I've tried to give them some aloe and cactus and strawberries they won't eat it
