Well, that's better than your originally projected $250!I had everything narrowed down to planting 11 things... so, of course, I had to order all the different kinds in all the things.... so, $75 damage
Way to slash that spending!!

Ooohh lolA derp is a faverolles hen. They're called that because they pretty much need special helmets to survive.![]()
Ok, forgot what i was going to ask lol! One of my two derp hens is gaining a serious weight advantage, like a pound and a half lol! The thing is, its like she's never full. I have to stop her foraging to put her in the coop. She's like one of those kids that might eat themselves to death. I don't know what to do with her. She doesn't have anything wrong with her at all. So what do i do? Do i just start building a little cart now? I know it isn't good for them to be fat but i don't know how to put a bottomless chicken on a diet.![]()

Worms?
Put the birds on free range all summer with little enough feed that they stay hungry most of the day. They'll range pretty far looking for food. I've had an EE like that.Ok, forgot what i was going to ask lol! One of my two derp hens is gaining a serious weight advantage, like a pound and a half lol! The thing is, its like she's never full. What kind of food do you get for them? Is it possible that they are missing something in their diet that the others don't need as much of? I read something one time about a hen that wasn't laying and all the others were. Well one day she gave her cat food and the next day or so she layed. Then the hen stopped again and she gave it more cat food and bam more eggs do you see where I'm going.Nope, she's been tested everyone has. Worms tend to make them eat but they just get skinnier. 21 hens might be on to something, she might just be a little pig.
It’s me! So tell me Anansi, what is it like to live somewhere green... and rainy![]()
