It would be about 1hr and 15 minutes for me. But...if it were something really urgent I would drive that. My vet doesn't treat chickens per say but she did say would be willing to see any of my chickens if I ever had a problem and she would do what she could. She is a great lady and an awesome vet
Well that is good. My vet has 4 docs I think, and they rotate. They primarily see cats and dogs, but they have treated snakes, lizards and hedgehogs. My vet seems very knowledgeable about chickens, so I am sure he would see mine. We have a full service vet about 20 minutes away, but judging by their building, they charge a lot.

Hello Squatchers!

Despite waking up 3 times last night, the Milk Drinker went right back to sleep when fed. I probably got about 7-8 hours of sleep last night. It was lovely! He's still a bit fussy and clingy today, but is currently happily playing in his playpen. Yay!
You must feel like a new woman!
Now if only you could get a few days of that in a row...

I wish I had that here.
I like my bet but when I told her I had chickens she was emphatic. No way. No how.

Dog wants to know if he can bring some friends in...

I hope No-toes name isn't based in reality :barnie
Well she came with that name! Apparently the people were getting her ready for a show one day and discovered a healing wound and 2 toes missing! They think it happened when a dog got into their rabbit keeping area. She gets along fine and is supposed to be a great momma.
