Remember I had my boy fixed a while back? Got his balls cut off?
It did not fix the little problem I am having with him...he likes to (has done it 3 times since about October) try to fight his old day. VERY Scary. I am too much of a chicken to put my hands near two fighting dogs to stop it so twice they fought til they stopped...the third time the crazy Mexican was able to stop it fast before blood. I still don't know what to do. The son, who will be two in a few months, is my all time favorite damn dog now, besides this problem, and I really don't know how to stop it or if I even can.
I would suggest the squirt bottle/squirt gun trick. It’s a quick way to get their attention in a harmless manner.
You also have to relax. They can sense your tension and fear. The pup, who’s trying to take over, takes advantage.
Easiest way to break up a dog fight is grab them by the back legs and lift.
I started having anxiety problems when I was about 14. So my first jobs where never long lasting. Did the restaurant thing, some office work, nursery stock shipping, factory.
Then I thought having a mile long list of past jobs wasn’t helping. I didn’t work for about 10 years. Around 30 I decided I needed to get my taters together. Sought help again and this time it worked. I’ve been a cleaning lady since. Homes and offices. Mostly after hours office cleaning. The pay isn’t great and I clean lots of toilets but I don’t have the stress of a regular job. No boss breathing down my neck or unhappy customers that complain.
Growing up there where 3 brothers who lived on my same street...the oldest had brown hair, the middle was a blond, and the youngest was a total red head. Flame red! I always wondered about their genetics.
