Holy crap well done, awesome recap, you didn't even take a breath, but do take a bow. To bad we couldn't see your enjoyable event. :wee:hugs:clap:woot:love
WAAYYYY down the road in June they have their recital & I'll be able to share then. They're doing this really cute routine for their one class, this isn't them (obviously), but this is the song/ dance they'll be doing at recital (not competition)... It's one of my favorites, even cuter when kids do it.

Morning squatchers. Sorry I haven't been on in a while. Lots of stuff has been going on. I'm among the top five scores on my AP Bio midterm! That's the only one I have news on, however. Last night we ordered chicks! They're coming in on the twelfth of February, three weeks from now, which means they're being set right about now! That just kinda warms my heart. The grand total:
1 easter egger(mine)
2 Salmon Faverolles(1 for me, one for my 11yo sis)
4 buff orpingtons(2 for the 12yo brother, 2 for the teacher we're splitting the order with
2 Black australorps(for my 9y0 brother)
2 Barred Rocks(for the teacher)
2 Silver laced Wyandottes(ditto)

I'm so excited!!!
On a less happy note, my 55 gallon aquarium is experiencing an ich and fin rot epidemic. I know why it happened. I was lazy about quarantining new fish, and they introduced the disease.
Congrats Ruby....you should be very proud.

Of course you know we are excited about your chicks!

Morning Stacey.

Did you get a bunch completed?

I know its a pain when its raining all day.

I have a colossal to do list. I have been sick a very long time so haven't been getting much done. I am resigned to finally going to the doctor.
Extreme fatigue along with randomly occurring chest pain. I really don't want to go to the doctor. Its just gotten to be to much this last month.

Don't go worrying bout me. I am a tough old bird.
Sorry 21, bad health is no joke. I went and had a full work up done on my heart. One of my coronary arteries is "only" 50% occluded. So they do nothing . They also said don't bother having further testing because it is always going to be abnormal. So now when i have chest pains, i just sit and worry until it goes away. Isn't modern medicine wonderful?

I would have died right then and there.

Since we're talking about health stuff lately.. my tiny human has been complaining of ear pain for a while and I took her too the dr on Friday, he said there's no infection, but a little water behind her ear. I try some of the ear drying stuff but she said it still hurt.. any one here have a magical remedy for ear pain? We've tried that hot compress thing, but I think I"m going to fill a hot water bottle when I go home for lunch for her to lay on. They said she still has enlarged lymphnodes in her neck but doesn't see anything.. whatever it is, it's not going away.

How tiny is your tiny human again?
That ear drying stuff is crap.
Most of them have glycerin in them which is the perfect environment to CREATE an ear infection.

If she's too tiny you can use straight alcohol pour in a few drops and press that piece of cartilage a bunch of times to get some suction going then let drain.

I have a recipe for an amazing concoction that is for my DOG but my DD's BF uses it on himself because he surfs everyday and is constantly battling ear issues.

Your. Ear bet would be plain mucinex for several days in a row taken with lots of fluids.
It promotes drainage and might help "open her up".

This is going to sound goofy but it is an old time remedy that works. Blow tobacco smoke into her ear.
