Never tried it with cayenne. I use dill weed and regular black pepper.

I use pickles and juice with eggs mustard,mayo paprika green onion bacon salt pepper . The cayenne was for the gumbo. The paprika gives the salad a slit kick

I use spicy pickles, mayo, mustard, dill weed, sweet yellow onions, green onion, salt, pepper, eggs, potatoes, and critical to my hubby BACON.

Did the bacon one time just to use up some left from breakfast. Now if its not in there I can count on it being all mine.

My wife never even tasted potato salad until I made it for her now she ask for it all the time
