I am going to hit the hay soon. The Milk Drinker just went down and I got only about 5 hours last night. I need to cull some roosters tomorrow. Yay.....

But.... I need to buck up and do it. I have 9 cockerels that need to go and I’ve got eggs in the incubator and chicks coming next week. So, I need to make room for them.

Have fun, or something.

I have a dom to do, but it's too cold.

Egg production is finally going up.
I got 9 yesterday and 8 today.
My barnevelder actually laid today!

So about 30% of my birds are being cooperative.

17% of my females are laying right now, and they're all two or under barring one bird.

Most of mine are under 2 also. I have 3 brahma that are 3 and 2 bantam Cochin's that are over 6. The rest are young and laaaaaazzzzyyyyy.

I don't want to think about it, I'm pretty much having to get it just so people don't ask me if I'm cold. Seriously an A cup shouldn't cost nearly what it does.

My daughter's stepmother took her to a Maidenform outlet store and spent $40 on her for an A cup bra. It was absolutely ridiculous how much she spent. She has a form of pigeon chestedness where one side of her chest sticks out further than the other. I have to say even though I would have never considered spending that much on a bra for her it does help even her out so it's not as noticeable. If you do find one that you really like you should Buy one more. That way you can alternate them so they don't wear out as quickly. Things don't last as long now.

Aww come on, how can you not like shopping for bras? It's sooo relaxing and the salesgirls are just delightful! Last part was a total lie, i got poked with a pointy fake nail last bra fitting and I'm still bitter.

I've never had them do a fitting. I'd have to talk to ppl, & they'd have to touch me.

I used to have a trailer that had an enormous garden tub. It was awesome & it took the entire water heater to fill it. It's the only thing I missed when I left.

You can use something like blue coat or sulfur to discourage it

I didn't want to use no pick bc she needs to be able to preen the new feathers. & blukote will stain her. I'll probably put her in the cage tomorrow & see if that helps.

I'm a bath woman, straight hot water some salts absolutely awesome. No showers, got my hair caught in my buttcrack while i was rinsing, went to whip my hair forward..nearly broke my neck.

I'm sorry, but

I make something between the two. Like the inside of a pot pie then I bake lots of strips of puff pastry in the oven.
I guess you'd call it deconstructed pot pie.
Man. My kids used to love that.

I swear I'm losing it. I forgot to tell you guys Tractor Supply this evening and they have a sign up in my local store that said they would have chicks there on the 19th. So if anybody else is on the lookout your stores maybe around the same time.

My feed store got chicks this week. I am not allowed to go without an intervention team.
