I know you asked those here to write up something, but have you considered checking out the new member introductions too? You could copy some of those to a word document, make corrections & save them for future needs. You could even save some of them and have him make the corrections to grammar, capitals, and punctuation. Whenever I read those I'm mentally making corrections. I swear it's a unannounced contest for the world's longest run-on sentence.

AN unannounced.... :lau

Let me take you on a tour of my chickens.
i have four chickens: Hannah, April, Dove, and Nicole.
Hannah and April are two peas in a pod. They are ISA Browns, and are amazing egg layers. They are very friendly, but sometimes they annoy my mom, because they will stay on our porch looking for handouts, and they poop all over it.
Nicole is a very flighty barred rock. When I trying to catch her and put her to bed, I have often ended up tripping on her because she is so desperate to escape, and then apologizing profusely as she walks away indignantly.
Dove is... special. She is a chocolate orpington, and more rare than the other birds. She chases moths through the air and looks really silly. She doesn't seem to understand the concept of egg laying. She'll go to the nesting box, sit there for an hour or so, then waltz out looking proud, and the egg will fall out as she strolls down the ramp.

Thank you Ruby. :hugs

Ok..so she just refers to her chickens as derps.
I thought it might be a new "breed" she made up.
Nope, but at the end of March I am starting my favernickers or faverniques if you're being fancy. Those will only be half derp. Can't wait! The rooster is going to be so thrilled about babies.

Ok, need opinions. I'm selling some EE eggs and some of the ameracuna eggs while they obviously won't hatch to be completely either one the buyer is aware. The thing is i was asked about EE color and i can honestly say i don't flipping know! They used to be green but she's doing butt magic now sooo.

What color is the egg on the left to y'all? The ameracuna is on the right. It looks gray to me.

no worries.... my spacebar gives me hell constantly.... :hugs
I have one hand that types faster than the other. Constantly getting letters out of sequence... IDK how or why, but I'm constantly back spacing b/c *someone* can't wait their turn.

Honestly 1/2 the time I can't tell what color my own eggs are either. Also, I've noticed that when I take photos of eggs the colors are nothing at all like what it looks like in person (remember my orange eggs?)... Not sure if there's some special trick to it or not, but I haven't figured it out. Sometimes I take what I know is a blue egg (or green) and hold it next to the questionable one. I swear some change colors in my hands even.. I'll be certain it's a blue egg, then later it looks green. Maybe take it outside and get a picture in natural light?

Well, look who the cat drug in! Don't be a stranger.
Well of course they stop in... someone mentioned streaking.
