@apryl29 I didn’t get as much as the last storm brought—thank goodness. But the forecast changes 3x a day.

I think in total I’ll get 3” by the end of the week. It’s snowing big fluffy flakes now. I’m beyond done with winter.

We're getting that right now too. & I totally agree. It's like the movie groundhog day.

My Australorps are quiet...My Welsummers are just LOUD.

I have an egger that NEVER SHUTS UP. Of course it's my daughter's favorite bird. I think she's afraid I'll forget to feed her or something.

I noticed yesterday that my aussie was limping. I checked her foot this morning and everything looked fine. Hopefully she just landed funny when she flew down from the perch.

Good morning! I'm semi awake, slept terribly kept waking up every two hours I'm like what in the ever loving tater!? I'm not feeding anyone or anything so why every two flipping hours?! Was maybe ten minutes late letting everyone out, had three eggs in the doorway....oh my lord, come on the nests are in there with y'all!

They were all standing by the door anxiously awaiting your arrival and didn't want to miss the freedom you bring to lay their egg. I found one on the poop board last week. Must have popped it out in their sleep, or didn't have time to find better accomadations.

Kicking Tucks off the nest again, made sure she laid first. Such a spectacle the whole gang bunches up just to watch the eviction. Gah,that hen makes a ruckus I don't even want to know what she'd be like with fuzz butts. I feel kinda bad but she doesn't hold enough body weight to be broody at least in my opinion. If it was Lulu it would be different, Tucks is just slender and wonky shaped for a faverolles I'm just looking out for her even though she doesn't appreciate it one bit.

Working on a quail feeder today. The caulk is frozen but i have back up silicone. Having a lunch break.

Warm, DRY feet.. that's all I ask for. Is that too much?
I feel lucky compared to you all north of here.. there's way more snow dumped on your guys.
I FINALLY put up a couple boards up to divide the 2 bottom nests to see if that'd encourage them to sit on the 2nd nest (give them some privacy).. all the eggs yesterday were in the favorite nest. I'm hoping they might eventually give in. They act like the end nest has special treats by it or something.
