Yay Cindi!

More news on the incubation front.
I am happy to report that the 4 Cornish eggs I set last week are fertile with wiggly little babies!
I didn't change anything in their environment or diet. I wonder if the Cockerel just figured out what he is doing, it is the right time of year, or if it is the new incubator. I've heard Cornish eggs are finicky. I wonder if the temps going all over the place and the humidity going too high had anything to do with it.
And 18-19 of the 28 Chocolate Orpington eggs I set are fertile and growing as well. Some of the CO eggs were infertile, but there were 2-3 eggs with a blood ring. When I move everything into the Brinsea so I can hatch my 5 mixed flock eggs, I'll have JUST enough room for them all, plus the Cornish Eggs I set this week.
