Official Squatch Watchers

Definitely need to set up the bigger brooder, they're getting flappy. That little box was great when they were still hatch drunk, they're totally sober now lol! No jars on my feeder or waterer either can't have jars with the knuckleheads learned that last year. The brooder has to be chick proofed. Btw I know my bowls are old and ghetto, I have nice new ones they're absolutely terrified of I'm talking drop taters where they stand scared. :gig
they grow so fast!

I had to rewet the sponges. So I took this picture. The egg with the second pip is two to the right of the one with the obvious pip.

Maybe your temps have been low?? I never had them go that long. Are these the older eggs? Maybe that plays a part.

I read a study once that said each day in storage added an hour to hatch time. Shipping stress adds time too.

I've personally had some older ones be slower, but I've also had some right in line with the others. Do you remember what the theory is on why older ones take longer?

Just stress on the egg. That is why shipping makes it take longer--The egg has to overcome the damage.
