Been a big day here.

Got confirmed coccidiosis. No other birds looking off at all. Going to complete a full round of the corid.

New roof went on today. NOT HAPPY!
LOTS OF BUCKLED SHINGLES.
Then I find out this is a brand new crew and no one checking up on them.
They also tore off the shingles on my workshop. Not part of the work order. In fact it said do not replace for that.
Well that's on them now. Already called the company and two inspectors are coming tomorrow.

Sounds like we all need an ice cream in bed day.
 
Taters Rae, I need a whole gallon!

Sable is exhausted from barking. Delilah is exhausted from hiding. I am grumpy because roofs are not cheap for taters sake!

On top of it all there is exactly 1/2 of a bowl worth of ice cream in the freezer.
It's strawberry. I don't like strawberry.

My diet may be complicated, but dairy is one thing I can eat. And I do so, often!

I'm with you on that. I'll eat it if there is nothing else. It tastes pretty good if you let it get soft and mix some Coco powder in it.
 
I think hubby is ticked off enough that he will be walking the roof with said inspector.

There are a few things that will cause shingles to fish mouth. One is age, um no these are new. Then there is humidity, um no this is a desert. The last is installation.

These should have 6 nails per shingle........We shall see as I was hearing a lot of 4 hits then pause with the nailer.

Not that I am picky but we are paying A LOT for this roof. I don't want premature failure.
 
I am having a great day, except for the part where i woke up at 7 am with severe legs cramps. :barnie muscle relaxer and 40 oz of Gatorade later i felt better. The steroids are helping with drying the poison ivy but i only have 2 pills left. I am having a side effect of amazing amounts of energy, which is how i ended up dehydrated working my butt off in my new garden. :wee

Every morning I start my day with a Zinger *tea* and then I eat a banana. As I've gotten older, I've noticed I get muscle cramps a LOT more often and easier. You might want to start supplementing with high potassium foods or pills.

Man, sounds like a royal screw up. Idk if we will see that contractor again. Hubby reamed him out pretty good for saying he was coming and then not.
