Sorry breakfast had been lacking, been kinda down, trying to figure out what I'm going to do career-wise. I'm a medical assistant who is a little slower than most places out here prefer, but I'm also thorough. I also tend to be too smart for my current level of responsibilities as a medical assistant. My options are 1. remain a medical assistant, or 2. go back to school, again, and get my RN, and eventually BSN. In all honesty, I will need the paycheck that being an RN would provide, but I don't really want to go back to school, but I also need to be at the level of responsibility that I'm capable of so I get in less trouble for speaking my mind, but I'm afraid of failing or making a mistake, but I can't really continue where I'm at because I don't work as fast as they want me too, no matter how hard I try, but that may still be a problem as an RN, but I don't want that level of responsibility, but I know I'm capable, and have been told many times that I would be good at it and can handle the responsibility, but I'm scared because I grew up being told, in words and actions, that I am not good enough, etc. The list could go on forever, and I really do need to get off my tater and figure out tuition and what I need to do to get in to a program to get this done. This really taters, and it's hard for me to be confident in myself, especially with knowing I'm not as fast as others in the same profession. I've tried other careers and was not successful, so that makes this even more nerve racking.
Anyhow, insecurity explanation over. I'll do my best to fatten everyone up, cuz y'all are starting to look skinny and malnourished.

I had one that i thought was going to stay bald. She actually grew into a gorgeous pullet. I'm not sure why some feather in so slowly. It's definitely not a gender indication.
Sorry about the light feet. I moved 2 hens a couple weeks ago that I think were throwing some dusky skin. It's supposed to be yellow, but the dusky legs are accepted in blue and black, I believe. But they should still show some yellow on the bottoms. I hope I got the right hens out of there.
I'm still working on them. I hate that you got one you aren't pleased with. Looks bad on me.
@Redhead Rae I was thinking, you wanted eggs from the orps, and I tried to choose those. We thought Tiny was full cochin because of the feathered middle toe, right? My rooster has very heavily feathered feet, so maybe Tiny actually is a cross.
I'd be happy to buy him from you.
Sorry if it came across that I am unhappy. I'm not!I’m wondering what the heck he is because the only bantams I have are Cochins and a silky cross. He is neither. I’m going to have to go visit the neighbors and see what they have. What can't you figure out?
I picked these eggs from my coop. I guess that is possible but i never see any strange birds in my area.Sam, are you wondering who the parents might be? Is it possible that a neighbor's bird is one of the parents? Maybe a foreign hen gave you an egg that had no relation to your flock? I don't remember if you set those chicks from your own flock or if they were shipped. Either way, he's a good looking boy.
