I bought the cutest little prefab coop today at a garage sale for 35.00. Its it perfect shape other than needing a couple coats of paint and new more secure hardware. Now that I finally have a rooster and my Seramas, I was thinking it would make the perfect little broody house.View attachment 1408702 View attachment 1408703
Awesome find!!! I love my little prefab. I have only had it for a year and it has been so handy as a jail, a hospital, and a broody house. Can’t wait to see the end product I know it will be beautiful

Well I put the little chick up for adoption and looks like momma took it in . :fl:fl Hope it works momma hatched one today. One day old with a 4 day old
I put new hatchlings (1-2 days old) in with up to 3 week old chicks all the time. I've never had any problems. Of course it could be that my Cornish are laid back birds.

Oh good my girls are laid back to i introduce new girls many times by just sticking them in and they don’t bully anyone so far sure they can see them the whole time but never really pay attention. Now my old rooster has been eyeing my young cockerel through the fence lately. This cockerel is going to be big 4 months old and already the same size as my 1 year old rooster. Well technically it’s his son .
