I'll catch up later but thought I'd share some amazing news.
My tint human's surgery went amazing!
Normally there are bands that pull the large intestine back over to the right & hold them in place. Normally the large intestine starts at the bottom right then goes up, across the body and down the left with the small intestine bunched up in the middle. Her large intestine started near her belly button and went up, to the left, then down the left side. Her small intestine was on the right. They cut the bands that were strangling her small intestine. So she shouldn't need any medications after this, in theory. We're here til at least Wed. The surgeon said there was a lot to fix. She should feel a lot better after this.

Loki is doing great. Babies are alive still.

Yay, yay, and double yay! Glad things are finally going your way :hugs Hope the tiny human has a quick recovery and you all have many hours of enjoyment watching the fluffy butts.

Momma says brooder time is over! I about died when I looked out the window and saw little yellow fluff balls in the yard.
Only problem is Momma hasn't figured out how to get the babies into the coop. She jumps up as the door and calls and calls but they don't go to the end of the ramp. They stand under it screaming till she comes back.

Mine had the exact same problem. They were around 1.5 weeks old before they could reliably get themselves into the coop at night. :he They were physically capable of using the ramp, but they just could't figure out where momma had disappeared to. They would sit right under the coop and cry. So, every night, I would go out around dusk, pick them up one by one and set them on the ramp and shoo them up it. One of them got it right away and started going to bed on her own. The other two took longer, but they all got it figured out eventually. :rolleyes:
ETA: my ramp was very narrow and steep. Yours will probably get the hang of it much sooner.

I tried getting her to call them at the end of the ramp but she was just mad at me for making her stand down there. :rolleyes: I guess I’ll be on fuzz butt duty for a little while.

Poor momma just wants to do things her way!!! :lol: Good luck with the fuzz but duty! I am sure they will get it eventually, and probably faster than mine did. Bubbles doesn't ever walk up the ramp. She just flies straight up to the door of the coop. I think her poor babies thought she was disappearing via magic :gig They were so confused!

All the birds jump up into the doorway. They almost never actually use the ramp. (Other then to stampede down it in the morning.) I have tree ramps in the coop to help them go up and down to the high roosts. They use those...
