One more hour to snooze, then it's out to work on rehanging the door. Should be an adventure. On the bright side, it did give me a reason to buy more tools to hide from DH. On the down side, I've been wanting to do it since Weds, but have been too busy with taking the kids everywhere they need/want to go that I haven't had a chance to do what I need to get done, so it'll be a very busy next couple of days. It doesn't help that none of the kids are driving. One never will, one tried but is too anxious, onger isn't all that interested, and one had s permit, but we haven't had a vehicle under my insurance for her to learn on. Hopefully that changes in a couple weeks, then I can get a little bit of a break from being the only one who can take them where the need/want to go.

Sam, I'd be looking for some kind of critter in addition to what stacey said...
Yes Rj.

Also this Sammy.
Is this a beak/tooth shaped chunk in the flesh?

Sam, to me it does look like beak and claw marks, especially with the de-gloving. I don't think you will need to cull, it should heal over with the proper care, she will just have a naked spot on that wing. You'll need to be extra vigilant about keeping them covered, and bring her inside so you can keep that wing properly cared for. Look for information on treating a de-gloving wound, and hopefully someone here can give you some info on treatment. Also, post it in the medical questions section. I'm sure you aren't the first one on here to have something like this happen.
