Got my pen for the new babies today, not long now! Still stumped on the pen, it really isn't any different than the expensive one. The pricey one was an iris 4 panel and el cheapo was a frisco 4 panel....they are the same! I'm not going to worry about it lol! Got it put together it is roughly 3x3x2 and easy as taters to put together "penwise" putting on latches and hinges which i'll only have to do once wasn't hard but it called for the most vauge sized phillips head screwdriver in the world.:)
 
That pen has no bottom so I ordered a big flexible garden tray to become the bottom. I kid you not finding a 3×3 tray is next to impossible. That flexible one I can just roll up when im not using it and i'd imagine it will be handy for things besides chicks. Forgot, the box also says "pet use only" no kids in the playpen! I don't see why not though, it really is just as sturdy.:)

DD went on vacation with her BF’s family to Puerto Rico. Parents flew out on a crack of dawn flight.
The two brothers, one wife, 1 girlfriend, and a four year old were scheduled for a flight mid morning yesterday.
They got stuck there.
Flights were oversold. Lots of people flying standby.
Then their Flight was delayed 13 hrs. due to
Mechanical problems, but they finally got whatever part and fixed the problem.

Finally got to Miami in the wee hours of this morning only to find out they wouldn’t get on a plane home today. Only two flight coming this way and
Oversold on both, No flights til tomorrow.
Drove to Jacksonville for one shot on an 8 o’clock flight -Last flight of the evening -got on ! Whoop whoop!-yay!
Ugh. Mechanical delay.
Then Weather delay.
Plane Finally took off. Just a little while ago.
When they land in Charlotte, they’llstill have a four hour drive to get home.

You know that expression, you can’t get there from here? That has been her experience.
She told me today, “I just want to scream and cry!”

She’s been up for two days, feels gross and dirty, is out of money, lost s day of work, and just wants to be home and sleep in her own bed.

All in all this has been an excellent life experience for her!

There are many people in this world who have tragically difficult lives, with daily challenges and disappointments that she (or we) can’t begin to imagine.

Maybe the chicks on the loose were the universe’s way of keeping your mind off of things.

@rjohns39 , I’m sure you’re feeling relieved. I bet Mrs.
J is feeling relieved as well.
I’m certain she hasn’t enjoyed seeing you unhappy.

I doctored it up the first day and pretty much tried to leave it alone since. She seems good know and is running around and eating and drinking flapping her wings and what not. The wound is scabbing over and looking okay so I think she will heal.
