You guys, I lost one of my LF White Cornish chicks :hit

I only had 2.

It was the one I was thinking was a cockerel. I have a hanging feeder in the coop that clears the bedding by about an inch or so. Somehow, the bird got stuck under the hanging feeder and died. I think we need to move it up so it is at least an 3-4 inches off the bedding.

They are to good at getting where they shouldn't be.

My coop feeders are 5" above the bedding. I don't have chicks in there though.

Oh no! I’m so sorry. Sometimes they amaze me with the danger they can get themselves into!
 
I doctored it up the first day and pretty much tried to leave it alone since. She seems good know and is running around and eating and drinking flapping her wings and what not. The wound is scabbing over and looking okay so I think she will heal.
