Thanks guys. At least my Darks are doing well, except for the broody. She only has one egg right now. I looked earlier, and she only had 2 eggs. I candles them and one egg was completely dark and sloshed around in the shell. It should be at least 16 days now. So I chucked it. Hopefully that one egg hatches and I might be able to graft new babies on her this week.

So sorry you lost one. Never fun, especially when you have limited numbers!

They are to good at getting where they shouldn't be.

My coop feeders are 5" above the bedding. I don't have chicks in there though.

It was a couple days old in the photo. I am afraid i have spoiled it. It peeps and i go stick my hand in and it jumps on. It likes to stay warm in my hair.

Yes I need to weed and trim and mow. Not gonna do it in the heat though.

They have hit the 4' mark now and are setting maters on.
My peppers are very happy with the heat too. They are in half barrels. The butternut squash grew a full 6" in two days!

I pulled a lot of weeds today, fed to the critters. Planted flowers too.

Well I did withhold the sad micro cabbage, okra, beans, etc.


I will start tying up the squash tomorrow and stare at my chewed up watermelon.
