Hey, I hate to ask this everybody, but did the squatchers make it through one whole day with zero deaths (except for the dog)?

I’ve been busy today and have only gotten to sit down a couple of times. And DH has been off and watches all “His shows on tv that I have zero interest in, then when he sees me typing or reading he pauses the tv.
Dramatically.
And says “No, go ahead. I’ll wait.”

All present and accounted for here! :yesss: Although, based on how everyone was acting while getting their de-wormer today, you would think I was hell bent on trying to murder each and every one of them :gig

Yes! But one of the quail roos lost a fight and his head is bloody. Had to separate him. I need to go get busy and build another cage!
I got a super deal on a 10x20 dog run, and half of it has a roof over. Only $100! Two panels will be added to my chicken run and the other four can go on the turkey run. Had to get up early and take it apart myself. Guy was all freaked out by spiders and wasps. It was hilarious.
Two days in a row i had a nap! Bliss! Gotta go build a cage.

Saw this on Facebook today and it made me laugh. Some of these definitely apply to chickens!

I get a whiff of the one out by the coop when I go by and :sick holy taters does that thing stink! But it’s filling up with flies.

They really do work amazingly well. I save the lid to the bottle and when it’s too gross to look at—stuff the paper inside and put the lid back on. Then throw the whole thing out.

I sucks when that happens. I've had several chicks die that way. It was because my incubator got too hot at some point during incubation.
