Official Squatch Watchers

Sorry about the hail damage. I am finally starting to get a few beans, i had to plant them 3x! Varmints! Not even sure what kind, but they sure can eat.
I didn’t plant any beans this spring. Our weather was crazy and we were running a month or more behind. I was afraid by the time it was warm enough to plant peas and beans it would get too hot too fast. It did.
Could I plant them later? ... like before autumn?

Morning all :frow
21 that doesn't look too terribly bad... Hoping all recover.

The cantaloupe are nearly leafless where they are along the ground. Where they are climbing they look better. A side effect of the wooden tomato cages is hail deflection! They don't look to bad. The corn leaves are shredded but the veins aren't broken. Where the fence, trees, lattice and shade cloth are really seems to have helped.
I do hope things recover.

Morning peeps.
Wondering what that eye looks like today @FlyingNunFarm.
Is the eye ball itself showing any irritation?

The old dog is still sleeping off his meds from last night.
Poor thing, He was never afraid of storms or loud noises until we moved here.
This neighborhood is insane.
It sounded like I imagine a war zone sounding.
Chickens weren’t too happy either.
Puppy didn’t seem to be affected thank goodness.

Mine were very panicky during the grand finally even with the drugs. Sable did some barking at the closed windows but handled things without meds.
A few neighbors got really loud here too. Personal fireworks are illegal here with fines STARTING at 500 bucks. It's not really enforced as the police are really busy on the 4th.

I am glad everyone made it through.

Yes to peas but look into timing for fall beans. I can plant into the middle or late July for them. Our first snow is usually late October.

Woke up to pouring rain and a yellow sky....fabulous! Still thinking about giving Lulu a chick or two, she still seems determined. She's just so odd, she'll either be an awesome mom or she'll just eat them I honestly don't know. She is so ADD I really don't want to give her more than she can manage, she's liable to just forget she has kids. I'm going to have to at least try, she's killing me.:caf

The swelling looks the same today. I think it’s my imagination being overly worried but at times it looks like that eye is funny. Sorta like a dog that has cataracts. But I can’t turn her head a certain way or shine light and make it happen.
No bugs anywhere. And both pupils react even to light. I don’t see any kind of irritant in her eye either.

I left the image as an attachment so it can be zoomed. That blueish area it the bottom of the bubble. I wish I could upload how it feels. I can’t really describe it.

Wow, nice pic. Reminds me of something burrowing under the skin, but maybe an infected feather follicle? Got any Terramycin?

I showed hubby this and told him I wanna build it! He said "as a coop?" . I said "of course". He said go for it. He wonders who I will put in it.

A few Polish of course!!!!
