I am pushing for them to contact meals on wheels. I went on their website a few weeks ago which was awesome and was surprised to learn so many things about it, such asI was going to suggest a home health nurse, which is the same as what Rae suggested. The medicine dispenser is a good idea, as long as it's affordable and dispenses in to something that he can manage. They do make over sized weekly medicine boxes. Also, look in to a meals on wheels type thing, that way you know he's getting a good meal daily, plus it's another way to make sure someone is checking on him regularly.
You don’t have to be poor to receive this benefit (although FIL is). They charge you on a sliding scale.
