I do the same thing. I love the way it smells. I could grow herbs just for the aroma therapy. I love the smell of fresh basil too. I'm looking for a climbing plant that looks good over winter too. I plan on putting up some fence but thought to make it more private I'd plant something on it. I absolutely hate morning glory! That stuff is so invasive. I thought about honey suckle.... maybe even some grapes, but I'm worried they would get to heavy.
I planted some basil last year called globe basil.

It grows in a ball shape, has a Lemonish background flavor and teeny tiny leaves.

What about jasmine? I don’t know if it grows where you are though?

I have a black thumb... if I try to grow it it dies. :thUnless it's an invasive weed. Then I can cultivate the crap outta that!

Jasmine might make it, my vine survived that awful winter we had. Virgin's bower clematis is good too really tough vines both of them.:)

I wanted something that would still offer a screen in winter. Someone suggested bean because they grow so fast but then I'd have bare fence with brown stuff on it once it snows.

I'd love to do passion flower and may just try it anyway. Supposedly there are varieties that will survive here if planted in the ground and covered before snow.

If you could keep on top of it english ivy dosen't die in cold dosen't do much of anything blossomwise but it won't go anywhere.:)

Nothing much, I have a day off! I'm chilling and drinking coffee and trying to figure out what to do with myself.

I think I'm gonna have to check in at an urgent care for my neck, from that fender bender. It's been a little tweaked and painful since then. I was hoping it would go away.

If I didn't have a C6-7 fusion for herniated discs I would prolly not follow up, but I'm really paranoid about my neck since then. I don't ride rollercoasters r do headstands or anything that might mess it up since then. It's prolly fine, but I may need a little PT...
