Sounds heavenly to me. Our weather has been in the upper 80's low 90's

I may or may not have actually passed out whilst working outside the other day. It sure feels hot to me.

hi all! I'm still alive and kicking. Working way too much. DH and I just bought a fixer upper house around the corner from us. We plan on turning it into an Airbnb. It has a half an acre yard that butts up to ours so we fenced that off and its now part of our backyard.....you know what that means.....more room for chickens. An additional run and coop is already in the works. I lost my CCL to egg yolk peritonitis a few weeks ago.My first chicken loss. She had laying problems from day one and only ever laid about a dozen hard shelled eggs in her short one year of life. She was sweet and I miss her but life goes on. I just got 2 new 4 week old chicks. An Ameraucana and a White Frost.I named them Eleanor and Martha. They are adorable. My Seramas also have started laying...eggs are soooooo cute but still delicious. I plan on hatching some once my new coop and run are built.
I'm not even going to try and catch up as I haven't checked in in weeks so hope everyone is well. I miss you all and hopefully when we get some more help here at work I will have a life again. Haha Love to you all...especially My Luv Smuv

We've been toastier than normal too, with upper 80 to mid 90 all month.

No, we don't get wild fires around Puget Sound, but we do have a burn ban. Fortunately, most people here are decent enough to not start fires unless it's a grass fire. The mountains usually get a fire or two, but oddly this year we are the only state west of the Rockies without a major fire, at least according to the map on HLN a couple days ago.

Listening to the rain and a very angry Hobo who is actually louder than the rain lol! The kids get under the back porch during storms and due to the close quarters Cookie got some Hobo then Hobo got some Cookie. She's already in a mood since she gets limpy when its damp don't know why it has happened since I got her. I get limpy too so I totally understand. Dummy still has to sleep with her tonight, i'm not saving him anymore he's crossed a line I can't help with.

It's been constant high 70's with no break at night. I'm roasting. Some days even break 80. This weather is for the Texans!

80’s is outside weather here go to the lake bbq swim drink beer and tie 6 or 7 boats together and have a party
