I need a vacuum without a beater bar! I'm sick of taking this thing apart and getting the hair out of it. Yes it is totally my fault that it happens. I need a canister, i'm not upright material anymore. Just suck it up, no beater bar, no belt freezing up just nice open hose with a little sucky brush. I metioned it last night, you'd think I asked for a Ferrari.

I gave up on vacuums too. I don't have carpet so went with a good ole shop vac. I am not ashamed in the least either. Malamutes leave TONS of vacuum killing hair.

:hitI just found Dumpling our Pekin Duck ate!! I have been looking all over for her today and my dog found her. We are think a coon or a Bob cat. She was out originally lady! Her roaun mate is going to be so sad!! I have 5 other ducks but they were raised together and mated.:hit

I sicked my son on them!
He called and asked for doctor Leonard. She's a lot nicer than Dr. Kim.

@pitbullmomma I know you wanted to see the results....

Ok soooooo the results.....

BUN would have been in the blood work.....it didn't list a number for that oddly.
CMA is 18 so slightly above normal.
Creatine is 1.1 (normal)
Urine specific gravity is 1.048 (normal)
No proteins found in the urine.
A few white blood cells found "but not many" according to the doc.

Basically not much to freak over but a kidney specific diet is recommended for 30 days then recheck blood work.
:th

I am ok with that since I want to spay her the end of this month anyway.

The first doc had me all kinds of crazy worried.
It's not kidney failure! yay! :) :wee:wee

I am so glad Henny!

That was premature of them to say she might have kidney failure. If her BUN was elevated--which it prolly was, but that is not as kidney-specific as Cr and can totally be elevated with dehydration or other issues--you have to get the USG to confirm it along with the Cr.

In her case her USG is normal so she is concentrating urine normally AND her Cr is normal--so definately NOT kidney failure.

They shouldn't have told you that just based on an elevated BUN--or at least told you it was a very small possibility, but with a normal Cr it is not a big concern.

Anyway, I am really, really glad for you. :)

Dysons are nice but way, way, way out of my price range. Maybe one day lol!
