Did crazy running around today but actually moved into the house. Can't believe it took this long. But the furry kids and I are staying the night.

Chickens hopefully soon too! I hate leaving them even for a little while but I'll be checking on them daily.

Update on us, we just got a good soaking, nothing more. We lost power for a second or two last night. Looks like the rain is moving on today!

He's his usual self. He has taken to removing his clothing recently. Thankfully, he leaves his diaper alone. He is also becoming a little parrot and is repeating back to us anything and everything we say.

The latest report from Snake Central shows that i have once again captured a large king snake. This one was not in a coop, but not far from one.

And it actually had a bad attitude and bit me!

Have the bottom treated against salt. When a car has never experienced it and takes on a lot at once it rots out faster. (So I've been told)

That's how all mine were too! I thought it was dark egg shells and crappy flash light.

I'm to get it oiled and we have some spots that my cousin's going to fix before winter gets here. It's Got a couple little spots where the paint's been chipped and a spot by the headlight where it got hit that's dented in, and he should be able to fix those too.
I'd assumed it was the dark shells. The egger shells were blue and I could see the yellow yolk through those, but even the lighter brown egg that didn't develop was hard to see through. I was really worried when I tossed them that they might have had a baby in them but luckily they were ok.

Oh wow. Ok, so I did sleep w/ chickens before, but they were chicks and the one was sick and I slept with it to keep it warm and feed it so it didn't get trampled by the others (it died anyway) and When I took Willie home I slept w/ him too b/c he WOULD NOT SHUT UP... like as soon as I put him in his cage his he started peeping his head off. I should have known then what a turd he was going to be. Again, he was a baby, not a full grown chicken. IF that lady is serious, she needs to see a dr and get on some meds.
I read stuff like this and think.. "Nope, I'm good. I'm not trying to sleep w/ a rooster in my bed so I'm fairly sane". That should be part of the crazy chicken lady scale #10 is Sleeps w/ chickens in your bed.

That boy can't read or at least I hope not! The booblie shakin and me crying laughing probably did bump up the fear factor.

Hi friends I miss you all so much.
Drove my dogs and cat around in the car for a little while just to feel some air conditioning.
Made it to a Home Depot yesterday after 45 minutes of winding around and making upturns because of trees down. (Usually takes me 7-10 minutes to get there.) to get another hand saw and went back home and got back to work.
It’s hot as heck today, day 6 with no power, not being a whiner but I’m ready for some electricity in my part of town. The heat is making me feel sick when I try to work to clear debris in my yard.

Little bit of stuff starting to open up in “monkey junction” area.
A couple of gas stations up there have gas. Two food stores are letting small groups of people in.
Mc Donald’s and Chick-fil-A are open
drive through, limited menu, every one is still cash only.

Gasoline and diesel fuel trucks being escorted by national guard or state troopers.

Oh and DH has an awful cold but is working his butt off at work.

Other than that we are all good.

Please continue to keep all those who are far less fortunate than I, in your thoughts and prayers that help gets to them soon.
