Oh yes, like those trees! We had lots in TN. The leaves remind me of maples.

Yes. They DO look like maple leaves but they are a PIA to clean up.
....although you live in the woods so you probs wouldn’t have to

Growing up there were cottonwood trees in the neighborhood. When they would drop their cotton it looked like it has snowed. You can't do anything to pick it up either. It's so light it just blows around. A rake is useless, goes right through. Awful trees.

NFC, you might be best off getting the 12' panels cutting them in half and putting the cut edge under the ridge cap. Just a thought.

I was thinking the same. They are wider too so I would need fewer of them. I’d like to get an actual measurement. Make sure cutting them in half wouldn’t short me. The ridge cap has 5” coverage on each side so I have a little room.

Woke up to bright red bloody puddles in my coop. Whomever did it was eating a lot of soil and sand yesterday while free ranging. Which makes sense, because I was back there raking and they were picking through eating bugs galore and thus ingesting a lot of dirt and ALL of them flew right past their actual feed in the morning for a plate of scrambled eggs.
Hoping it’s just coccidiosis because of all the rain and runoff and not something worse.
I’m going to try to get to my TSC this morning for Corid- which kind should I buy? Liquid or powder?
Hoping I can get up there... I’m hearing that the roads are still perilous.

And today’s my b-day and I just wanted a nice quiet day

Well Happy birthday! I know those poops wern't what you were wanting for a present. With the corid, liquid is easier to work with but they both work just as good.
