Do you have any nutri drench?First-- she's alive!
No heating pad. She's so taterin weak. She did move herself a bit in the night.
I don't see any injuries. She can move everything. When I say covered I mean covered. Ex called and said there is a dead chicken in the run. So I drove over and when I looked in she was laying there in a awkward position. (It reminded me of a bloated deer on the side of the road if I'm honest. One leg in the air, head bent back.) I went to pick her up and she kicked her legs and tried to move her head around. Pretty sure "JC she's alive!" came out of my mouth and I yelled to the ex, "get the door". I brought her down to the basement and ran warm water over her. We've had rain and thunderstorms this weekend so their run is a mud pit. I'm not sure if she got stuck then it rained and she got splashed with more. That's my best guess.
She drank on her own this morning. I put some nutir-drench in it. Then added a little of the Kaytee baby bird powder. Very loose slurry consistency so she can drink it. She lists to one side or the other if I don't hold her upright. She does this weird movement with her head I don't like. It reminds me of the ticking CC did before she died. But with Sugar it isn't as rhythmic. It's more like a kid trying to fight sleep. Got her propped up and resting. I plan on offering slurry every few hours.
