I am awake.......unwillingly lol.

Looks like they may have underestimated our snow a bit.
There is at least 7" on the back porch.

Not sure I am awake enough for snow. :hmm

When puppy as to pee puppy HAS to pee though.
It's 22° and not going to get above 29 according to the weather channel.
Brrrrr.
 
People are already running off the roads here.

Hubby did a DUI impound tow.....seriously it's snowing why drink and drive........

He is on a winch out of a car on the boulders off the interstate.......where she went off the boulders are like 2.5' tall. How on earth did she end up on TOP of them?????

Shaping up to be a busy day for him.

It is.
I hate it.
I freak out on the inside all the time.

I used to go with to help.
I just can't anymore. To many times have I seen him have to dodge cars, from diving over a guardrail to onto the bed of the tow truck.
It's been proven that the flashing yellows actually cause drivers to veer TOWARD the tow truck.
A few times the police were still on scene. Yup the close calls result in the officer giving chase and a ticket.

A lot of people don't understand that a tow truck is to be treated like an emergency response vehicle. If the flashers are on people are supposed to move AWAY from the area or if not possible slow the tater down.

We had a neighbor that drove as well. He was killed on the job.

Yeah I worry a lot about safety. More so now that my son is also driving a tow truck.

I always get images of Highway Thru Hell in my mind. I don’t recommend you watch it but it’s a good show.

Luckily it's not that extreme often.
Also luckily there aren't that many off steep cliffs.
Hubby is home and back in bed. He didn't get any sleep last night.

Birds are tended. They looked outside and then started the complaining.
I need to find where I put the deicer thingy for the big coop.......it's a six gallon dish in there.
The little coop is just a one gallon so easy to thaw.
 
Sugar is alive but sleepy. She had a blowout in the night. Then again in the sink while I was trying to clean her up from last nights. @staceyj I’ve already used that sink for chicken butts! (They both shot poo all over it too.) She’s not super interested in food but I got some eggs down. She seems to have gas in her crop. I’m not sure if she’s horking down food to fast or there isn’t enough food in it... I’m going to feed her small meals throughout the day.

Gladys is doing a really good Chewbacca impression. She sits in the crate and purrs. Still refuses to hold that leg back. I got some video of her yesterday but don’t have room on my Vimeo account to upload it.

Random pet owner observation— Get Dr Spot carpet cleaner! (Made by dawnchem) Someone puked up green grass vomit on my nice new rug. Did I mention it’s a cream colored background. I wish I would have had my phone ready. I watched the green disappear before my eyes.
