Lol! I got my first chickens from a hillbilly in the mountains. That is where Marlene and Susan came from...nope that ain't minecraft. Then I ordered "and got fleeced proper" eggs from MPC just got four for the low, low, price of 30 bucks OUCH! I'd tell the bator everyday "just give me one pole and one hole and i'll be happy." Bator gods heard my chant and I got Negan, Lulu and Tucks...still not minecraft!

I'm shocked at how much eggs cost.. Almost not worth it for some, esp if you have a bad hatch.
My 4 chicks were $30, but rare breed.., blah blah.

I LOVE this bird! Pretty sure she has foot prints on her back. She didn't squat for me but her pelvic bones are 3 fingers... and shes heavy all of a sudden.

So pretty! Her little puff is cute.

How could you not love the bouffant! She has a really long neck too. She stands normal but when she goes to look around she's suddenly a swan. Sweetest thing. Doesn't want me picking her up but once I have her she will happily sit on my hand.

She sounds like a good one.

I randomly make cupcakes for people who need a smile.

Today it was my mechanic and his wife and crew just because they are *corrected NOT the dealership- but oh gosh did they love the story.

And a kid my daughter works with because he’s working tonight.
his girlfriend broke up with him last week and he’s heartbroken.
It not just any old break up. It’s complicated.
They’ve been dating almost three years.
He’s crazy about her. Worships her.
She’s a bee-otch btw.

Two years ago he broke his tibia, ankle and a mess of foot bones in an accident.

Seven surgeries later they just couldn’t get things fixed and then he got a massive infection and wound up with a bk amputation.

He wears a prosthetic.

He told my daughter that he can’t imagine that anyone will ever find him attractive and he guesses he’ll never get another girlfriend.
He’s 21.

She said she gave him a hug and said.
“Yes you will Owen!
And I’m going to get my mom to bring you some cupcakes.”

I have my kids so trained into thinking that a hug a cupcake and a slurpee are the three strongest medicines known to mankind.

So I’ll be dropping off those cupcakes later.

That's so sad. But cupcakes are magic.. Ice cream too! Hopefully he'll get out of his funk. It's hard moving on from a long term thing.

Smh.. It's one thing to want several opinions, but that's obnoxious.

Seriously, mine were so standoffish until awhile after they started laying. Then they started getting sweet. Now they are both like lap chickens. They have way exceeded my expectations of ACs because, frankly, everything you read about them is kinda off-putting. Like, they are not cold hardy, they are not really friendly, they lay like 80 eggs a year....

I love my ACs. And my roo, he was awesome. I fell in love with the breed like I did with pit bulls and Seramas, cause in my experience, they are awesome.

Hahaha on the cranberries! It was for the HS enviro sciences class, and all those trips I love going on cuz they are fun *and* I learn a ton of stuff. The kids really enjoyed it. And of course I was thrilled, cuz everything in my life revolves around my chickens, and I got a big bag of cranberries, and then came home and gave some to the chickens....and they love crnberries.

Eventhe babies got cranberries and it was hilarious watching them stealing them and playing Keep Away!! So cute!

I hope she warms up a bit. I'm not super worried about eggs w her. She was kinda extra w the other 3. I already have 2 free loaders, not counting boys. I'm hoping after the boys are gone she'll calm down.

We for cranberries a couple weeks ago. They loved fighting over them. I stuck them in the pool w some grapes. It was fun to watch. Took them a while to figure it out.

There is nothing wrong pop.
