Hobo tried to roost with the old hens and rooster tonight and I tried to let her but she's still just brutal! I know a little pecking happens but OMG! And she growls and pecks so she's terrifying lol! The only safe soul was Negan but he had Marlene and Susan trying to hide under him. Woman made me climb in the coop to get her, went aaaall the way to the back. When I got her in my arms she was my sweet Hobo. She just can't roost with anyone closer than two feet away or she just goes vicious. I thought it would improve but nope lol! I am glad to see Negan and her getting along.

Oh no. I just noticed I had a big spot of blood on my robe. I checked it wasn't mine and the only living thing iv'e had close is Hobo. I grabbed my flashlight and down to the coop I go. Shine on Hobo and blood under her, looks like it is coming from her toe? Alot of blood for a toe! Then I see the culprit, a big black bumble that popped. Iv'e not ever seen one pop they're usually pretty hard at least here. She let me fiddle a little bit, the bumble feels deflated but the scab is still there. First one ever on her, this should be fun.
