She had a giant hole in her leg! I got some nasty stuff out of it. Looked like old blood, and a little cheesey pus stuff. I can't tell what's what. I sprayed it with vetricyn and rinsed it a couple times. Of course the majority of my first aid kit is with the flock. So I gobble some honey on it and a cotton pad and wrapped her up again. I knew the hock was swollen but it wasn't red or warm. I thought it was from her using it like a foot... I guess not. I'll have to keep an eye on it.

Do you think that was the original mystery problem or do you think it’s new?

That’s exactly what I’m thinking. You know that had to hurt.
I’m thinking now that it finally ruptured, it may finally heal.
How do you guys feel about soaking it? Yes or no?
