Just found out today that one of our other managers is our future director. Good news for me b/c I was worried they'd hire someone who'd fire me [I've a bit of a swearing problem]... and I have a strange sense of humor. Like when he calls and asks how I'm doing at the beginning of the call I say "That depends, what do you want?"... MANY people will think it's rude to say that.. but people who know me know that the only reason ANYONE calls us is b/c there's a problem so I might as well have some fun w/ it.

I can confirm. They have a lot better stamina than I do too.

It's my exercise program. Any and all escaped animals i get to catch. Had a male rabbit loose for a week, but i did end up catching him.

We seem to always have 'beggars or panhandlers' at the intersection by our Walmart. This past summer it was the same ones over and over. A man a woman and 2 dogs. Always had signs asking for $ to feed their dogs. So.....one day I was feeling particularly snarky and as I pulled into the Walmart plaza there they were. I went in and did my shopping, picked up a bag of dog food and 2 job applications. I drove over to where the 'panhandlers ' were. Offered them the bag of dog food which they declined cuz they said it was too heavy to take with them and then reached into my purse and said " well I have something here for both if you" They lit up with anticipation as I handed them each a job application. Apparently not what they were hoping. They called me a few choice names and walked away.

I gave the dog food to a neighbor

I had a guy come up to me and ask for money to get something to eat. Then he had the nerve to tell me $5 would get him a good meal. I gave him a buck. Get a burger guy.

Apryl I'll add to the chorus of how lucky those girls were... Had a 10 pointer decided to attack a friends VW Bus. Turned out to be a huge mistake for the deer, put those horns right through the sliding door and got stuck and it was deer season. Had to cut the horns off to get him into the bus.

I’m not sure what to do with Gladys. I saw a thing about making a brace out of foam for both legs. The concern is she will have to wear it the rest of her life. Better then not walking at all... I’ll see what I come up with.
