For the rest of the introverts out there--

We all got together at my Grandma's when she was living, couldn't tell you how many her six kids, their kids and husbands and some a handful of great grands. Everyone would bring something, just massive amounts of food. It honestly looked like some Norman Rockwell chit. Buuut then you'd find little gossip groups scattered around "Omg Clara! Donna has gotten faaat!" "Can you get over Gene getting three plates full? What a pig!" "Janet's kids are just screaming brats, wish she'd leave them at home!" You get the jist lol! And without fail somebody would give the whole family the trots with something they brought and or you'd get the flu...those were the good old days I tells ya.:old

Yup! Such a blast overhearing all the mean nasty jabs.

I am to outspoken anymore. There would be police intervention and bail and then more nasty jabs if my family got together.

My brother hates me and i am not fond of his greedy ways.
 
I hear you, I can't behave so I just don't go. Heck of a thing back then all that yap yapping about Thanksgiving togetherness and then the family dinner just blows that feel good tater right out of the water. :gig
